Arrival
There is no supervision on campus until 8:25 am. Students should not arrive earlier than 8:25 am.
Dismissal
Any student leaving the campus must be signed out in the office by someone on their emergency card. Any person signing a student out must show picture I.D. Walkers should always go directly home after school. Bus riders will be put on the bus by their teacher. At the school parents may not remove students from the bus. Instead please go to the office by 3:15 pm and check students out. Any changes to a child's usual way home after school must be accompanied by a call or note to the office by the parent.

Attendance
Children who attend school every day are successful students. They have continuity academically as well as socially. Regular attendance is essential to school success. Students must attend school every day during the schedule except in the case of illness or emergency.
Attendance Awards
To obtain a perfect attendance award a student must be here every day. Perfect attendance awards will be given to students at the end of each semester.
Tardies
Responsible behavior includes being on time and ready to enter the classroom by 9:00 am. When students are late, they must go to the office and get a tardy slip. After the student has the slip it is given to the teacher.
Absences
When your child is absent, please send a note to school the next day or call the school to tell us why the child was out. If they are absent, please call or send a note requesting an Independent Study contract. The ISC will help your child keep up their skills and give them credit for being at school.
